James W. Wilcox is a tax and business advisor to closely-held companies and individuals. He specializes in tax planning and research for professional corporations, foreign corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies and individuals. He successfully represents clients before the Internal Revenue Service, and has provided expert testimony and other litigation support consulting services. His services also include planning and other consultations and assistance in the areas of real estate taxation (including time-sharing), mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations and liquidations, formation of partnerships and corporations and deal structuring. In addition to his regular practice responsibilities, Mr. Wilcox has lectured on all major federal tax reform legislation for the firm , its clients and other practitioners since 1984, and has served on the Loan Committee of the Cumorah Credit Union.
