James W. Benz was named Chief Operating Officer of GWI in May 2005. Mr. Benz was Senior Vice President - GWI Rail Switching Services from March 1997 through April 2005. He also had been President of Rail Link Inc. since 1987 when he founded the company. GWI acquired Rail Link in November 1996.
A graduate of the University of Tennessee Mr. Benz worked in various transportation supervisory capacities on the Seaboard Coast Line Railroad and CSX Transportation from 1972 to 1987. |
