James T. Prokopanko became our President and Chief Executive Officer in January 2007. Mr. Prokopanko joined Mosaic as our Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer in July 2006. Previously, he was a Corporate Vice President of Cargill, Incorporated where he had executive responsibility for procurement and served as a leader of the Cargill Ag Producer Services Platform. After joining Cargill in 1978, he served in a wide range of leadership positions, including being named Vice President of the North American crop inputs business in 1995. During his Cargill career, Mr. Prokopanko was engaged in retail agriculture businesses in Canada, the United States, Brazil, Argentina and the United Kingdom. |
