James Morrison practices in the area of federal and state taxation of individuals, corporations, trusts, estates, not-for-profit organizations, and employee benefit plans.
A large portion of his practice is representing and assisting clients in examinations conducted by the Internal Revenue Service and state taxing authorities. He has extensive experience in assisting a wide variety of clients in all levels of the examination and appeals process.
Mr. Morrison is a member of the American Society of CPAs, the Tennessee Society of CPAs, is a former president of the Chattanooga Tax Practitioners, and currently serves on the board of the Estate Planning Council of Chattanooga.
He serves as the treasurer of the Salvation Army of Chattanooga, serves on the advisory board of Esperanza Del Barrio, and is an active member of Tyner United Methodist Church.
He earned a B.S. degree and graduated with honors from the University of Tennessee at KnoxvilleQ. |
