James (Jim) Devine is Vice President and Controller at UnicornHRO. He is responsible for managing the company’s financial reporting, internal financial controls, cash flow processes and contractual reviews. Prior to joining UnicornHRO in 2003, for five years Jim held several financial positions with ADP/OMR, a division of ADP Brokerage Services Group and a leading provider of fund accounting and investor communication services. During this time, he served as a Financial Trader working with third-party hedge fund accounting, a business analyst specializing in foreign exchange trading and an accounting manager responsible for his division’s financial reporting, cash management and internal controls. Before ADP, Jim was with Merrill Lynch for more than eight years serving as Assistant Vice President of Accounting. For six years, he oversaw the activities of 25 accountants as well as directed SEC and shareholder reporting efforts. Jim is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds a bachelor’s of science degree in accounting from Rutgers College in Camden, New Jersey.
