Mr. Maddox has been involved as a Director and financial advisor to the Company since it was founded in 2003, and joined the Company as its full time CFO in 2006. He brings to GlobalTouch over twenty-five years of experience as a finance professional and executive in a variety of industries including telecommunications, commercial real estate and mortgage banking. His experience spans corporate finance, venture capital, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial real estate finance. Prior to joining GlobalTouch, he was CFO and Director of Q Telecom, a facilities-based international wholesale long distance carrier based in Los Angeles. He was also a co-principal of Private Equity Partners, a private investment company focusing on start-ups and emerging growth internet, telecom and technology companies. Mr. Maddox was also Senior Vice President of ARCS Commercial Mortgage where he managed a $50 million mezzanine investment fund, and Vice President of Real Estate Investment Banking of Citicorp Securities where he completed more than $1 billion of transactions. He also held a variety of management positions with Weyerhaeuser Mortgage Company. Mr. Maddox holds an MBA from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management and a BA in Economics from Claremont McKenna College. |
