James R. Breisinger is Vice President of Kennametal Inc. (NYSE:KMT) and President of the newly formed Advanced Components Group. In this role, Mr. Breisinger oversees Extrude Hone, Conforma Clad, Electronics and Developing Business.
From 2000 to 2005, Mr. Breisinger served as President of the Advanced Materials Solutions Group. Under his leadership, he and his team grew AMSG into a $500M+ business. He served as Chief Operating Officer of the corporation's Greenfield Industries subsidiary from March through September 1998, and as Kennametal's Chief Financial Officer from September 1998 to August 2000. He served as Managing Director - Europe from 1991 to 1994. In July 1994, he returned to the corporation's headquarters as Controller. Mr. Breisinger joined Kennametal in 1979 as Manager of External Reporting, was made Controller in 1983 and was elected a Vice President in 1990. Prior to joining Kennametal, Mr. Breisinger served as Audit Manager with Coopers & Lybrand, Pittsburgh, Pa.
Mr. Breisinger is a Trustee of Seton Hill University, and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Financial Executives Institute. He earned a degree in business administration at Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, in 1972. He and his wife, Donna, reside in Greensburg, Pa. They have two children. |
