Experience:
James Walther practices corporate and securities law and is the California Practice Leader of the firm’s Corporate and Securities Practice. He represents public and privately held companies in mergers, acquisitions and corporate restructurings; joint ventures and strategic investments; corporate governance advice and compliance; public offerings and private placements of securities, including initial public offerings; and antitakeover and proxy contest advice. He has special experience in thrift institution, banking and other financial services company acquisitions, restructurings and regulatory matters; real estate capital markets; and technology companies.
