James R. Smith Senior Vice President, Commercial Business James R. Smith was named senior vice president, commercial business in December 2007. In this position, Smith is responsible for the overall profit and loss administration of the division, product development, and sales. Smith has more than 30 years of experience in effective change and growth in the health care industry. Prior to joining CDPHP, Smith worked as regional president and chief operating officer at Excellus BlueCross BlueShield for its Central New York region. Smith earned a bachelor of arts degree from the Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, and a master’s degree in business administration from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. He is currently pursuing a doctorate in business administration from Case Western Reserve University. |
