James Hully joined IntelligentMD in September 2002. He is the company’s lead inventor making significant contributions to the creation of next-generation diagnostic solutions through his development of proprietary algorithms designed to dramatically improve the ability of molecular-based diagnostics to identify the cause of patient symptoms. His research and development group at IntelligentMD has been awarded two SBIR grants to develop novel tests for multiplex detection of respiratory viral and perinatal pathogens. Prior to joining IntelligentMD, Dr. Hully held senior scientific positions at Ventana Medical Systems and Applied Biosystems, where he helped develop microarray and PCR platforms respectively. Previously, he completed his post-doctoral research at Genentech. He holds a B.Sc. in Zoology and Marine Biology from University College of North Wales, and an M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Experimental Pathology and Toxicology from the University of London. |
