Mr. Hocking joined Cornell Global after a lengthy career in portfolio management. His experiences include senior positions at the Continental Illinois National Bank, John Hancock, Schroders, Templeton and Citibank. He has been a securities analyst, portfolio manager, Director of Research, Chief Investment Officer and Chairman & Chief Executive Officer. He has designed and staffed investment organizations. With regard to mutual funds, he has managed funds, been a director of a fund manager and has been a chairman of a mutual fund board. Jim was graduated from the United States Naval Academy and has an MBA from the University of Chicago. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts and its Private Wealth Management Committee. He is a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) with a consulting practice in investment management and financial planning. He has had significant consulting assignments and continues to work in this area. He serves on a major investment committee and is Advisor to the Anglican Investment Agency, London. He is a Trustee of the Naval Academy Alumni Association and the Navy League. At Cornell Global, Jim is involved with client consulting assignments and executive search for senior positions in investment management, investor relations and the financial services sector. |
