Jim Spiezio joined Beacon in May 2000 as Corporate Controller, and has been Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer since July 2000. He has over 25 years of diversified manufacturing and financial management experience. Prior to Beacon, Jim worked as a financial consultant from November 1999 to May 2000. Before this, Jim was the Chief Financial Officer at Starmet Corporation, a diversified metallurgical manufacturing company, from January 1993 to November 1999. While at Starmet he also served as president of a wholly-owned manufacturing facility for five years and held additional financial management positions including Corporate Controller and Manager of Planning and Analysis. Prior to joining Starmet, Jim held financial management positions with United Technologies Corporation, Pratt & Whitney Aircraft Group in accounting, cost and business analysis. Before Pratt & Whitney, he held financial management positions with General Electric Company in both the Power Systems and Apparatus Services business groups. Jim is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Business. |
