As Vice President, Jim performs valuation analysis and other financial advisory services. Jim has experience consulting with domestic and foreign businesses in a variety of industries. In addition, he has experience valuing and analyzing fixed income instruments, preferred equity, financial options and real options, and various intangible assets. He brings to SEG a diverse industry background and strong experience in business and intangible asset valuations, investment management, financial analysis, and project management. Prior to joining SEG, he was a Manager with the Financial Advisory Services group of Deloitte & Touche in Los Angeles, California. There he managed a variety of financial consulting projects including those involving SFAS 141 and 142 compliance, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, financing, employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) transactions, litigation, and third party reviews. Before he joined Deloitte & Touche, Jim was a Senior Consultant in the Valuation group of KPMG, an Investment Analyst at Riverplace Capital, and a Trust Officer for Wells Fargo Bank. Jim earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from California State University, Long Beach. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is also an experienced grader of CFA examinations. |
