James L. Persky has been a director of our company since April 2007. Since 2001, Mr. Persky has been retired. From 1998 to 2001, Mr. Persky was Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Luminex Corporation, a medical research and development company. From 1985 through 1997, Mr. Persky was employed by Southdown, Inc., a cement manufacturer, as Controller in 1985, Vice President Finance from 1986 to 1989, Senior Vice President Finance from 1989 to 1994, and Executive Vice President Finance and Administration from 1994 through 1997. From 1980 through 1984, Mr. Persky was employed by Enstar Corporation, a crude oil and natural gas exploration and production company, where he served as Corporate Controller in 1984 and Assistant Controller Oil and Gas Operations from 1980 through 1983. From 1971 to 1980, Mr. Persky was employed by Shell Oil Company, an international crude oil and natural gas exploration, production, refining and marketing company. Mr. Persky is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas and a Master of Science in Accountancy from the University of Houston. |
