Mr. O’Connor serves as Vice President, Worldwide Quality Assurance/Quality Control and Regulatory Affairs. He is responsible for SBI’s quality management system and regulatory compliance. Mr. O’Connor joined the company in November 2005. Before joining SBI, Mr. O’Connor was Owner/Principal of JMC Medical. In this role, Mr. O’Connor provided strategic marketing management for medical device and biotechnology companies. Mr. O’Connor has extensive Quality and Regulatory experience as well as a solid understanding of FDA / ISO standards and regulations. Prior to JMC Medical he held Quality, Product Development and Marketing positions at ZymeQuest Inc, Whatman HemaSure Inc, Sepracor Inc, and Millipore Corporation. Mr. O’Connor has more than 25 years experience in building and managing infrastructure in growing medical device companies. He holds a BS in Mechanical/Biomedical Engineering, from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. |
