Mr. Greene has over 17 years of medical device and biologic experience focused on the treatment of cardiovascular diseases. Mr. Greene most recently served as the Executive Vice President of Operations for Bioheart, Inc., an early stage company focused on the treatment of congestive heart failure through the surgical and percutaneous delivery of autologous cell therapy. While at Bioheart, Mr. Greene supervised global operations to include clinical and regulatory activities, MyoCath Injection Catheter development, physician relations and customer education and training. Previously, Mr. Greene was Director of International Sales and Marketing for Medtronic International, where he increased sales from $16 million to $30 million in less than 12 months. Specifically, Mr. Greene was directly responsible for combining a number of technologies (AneuRx Stent Graft from Medtronic, Inc., Talent AAA Stent graft and peripheral vascular stents from Arterial Vascular Engineering, Inc.). Mr. Greene also established and organized the Peripheral Vascular Division of Medtronic International based in Switzerland and covering Europe, Middle East and Africa, where he was responsible for making Medtronic the world leader in endovascular AAA stent graft procedures. Prior to joining Medtronic, Mr. Greene served as the International Sales and Marketing Director for Arterial Vascular Engineering Inc. and Perclose, Inc. Previously, while at Guidant Corporation, Mr. Greene had sales responsibilities as a Regional Sales Manager where he merged the sales forces of Advanced Cardiovascular Systems, Inc. and Devices for Vascular Intervention (DVI) as part of the formation of Guidant’s Vascular Intervention division. In addition, Mr. Greene served as a product manager, where he developed and coordinated from concept to market leadership the RX Elipse Rapid Exchange Balloon dilatation catheter. Mr. Greene holds a B.A. degree from Furman University. |
