James L. Bowen became a director of WPC in August 2003. Mr. Bowen served as the President of the West Virginia AFL-CIO from November 1997 through August 2004. Previously, Mr. Bowen served as Vice President for both the West Virginia and the Ohio AFL-CIO. Mr. Bowen was an active member of the United Steelworkers of America for 42 years, and an International Representative for 32 years. He has been involved with the West Virginia AFL-CIO since 1965. Mr. Bowen served as a director of WPSC from 1998 to August 2003. Mr. Bowen is a designee of the United Steelworkers of America to the WPC Board of Directors pursuant to the terms of the collective bargaining agreement among the USW, WPSC and WPC.
