Jim has accrued over 37 years in the lighting field. Over 29 years of that time was with an electric supply company as Lighting Manager and Director of Purchasing for their residential lighting department. In his Source role Jim is responsible for the residential and fundamentals courses and downlighting and track products. Jim is a graduate of Northeastern Illinois University, a member of the Illuminating Engineering Society (IESNA) and holds the CLC (Certified Lighting Consultant) from the American Lighting Association. Jim is active with the ALA on the CLC Certification Committee, Education Committee and was assistant editor for the Residential Lighting Handbook. Jim is able to draw on design, research and education expertise to develop course content for educational and product solutions classes as well as incorporate Cooper Lighting products into application solutions throughout the facility. |
