Dr. James J. Murata graduated from college from Temple University with a BA in Chemistry. Continuing his training in Philadelphia, Dr. Murata completed medical school at Jefferson Medical College
He completed his internship at Highland Hospital in Alameda, California and his otolaryngology residency at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Long Beach, California.
Dr. Murata has been in private practice since 1971. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and is a fellow in the American Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, the American College of Surgeons, the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy and the American Society for Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
