James Bender is the general counsel of our general partner. Mr. Bender has served as senior vice president and general counsel of Williams since December 2002.
From June 2000 until joining Williams, Mr. Bender was senior vice president and general counsel with NRG Energy, Inc. Mr. Bender was vice president, general counsel and secretary of NRG Energy from June 1997 to June 2000. NRG Energy filed a voluntary bankruptcy petition during 2003 and its plan of reorganization was approved in December 2003. |
