Dr. Healy is Managing Director of Sofinnova. Prior to joining Sofinnova, Dr. Healy had experience with both pharmaceutical products and research platforms. He held a manufacturing position at Bayer Pharmaceuticals and helped lead the discovery group at Ista Pharmaceuticals prior to its initial public offering. Previously, Dr. Healy was involved with the Human Genome Center at Lawrence Berkeley Labs and, through a later collaboration with Affymetrix, helped design, test and then publish on the first murine gene chips. Dr. Healy began his private equity career at Sanderling. He earned a BA in Molecular Biology and a BA in Scandinavian Studies from the University of California at Berkeley. He received his MD from Stanford School of Medicine and earned his PhD in Immunology from Stanford University. Dr. Healy is an author of numerous research articles and reviews including three papers published in Nature. |
