Hello, I’d like to thank you for giving me the chance to do what I love most - training! I consider it an honor to be your guide in learning the latest Microsoft operating systems. I’ve been involved in the computer industry since 1981, beginning with the Radio Shack TRS-80 (for those of you who remember, we used to call those things Trash 80’s). Later, I upgraded to an IBM PC Jr. with a high-capacity 360K floppy drive, and then a smokin’ Kaypro 8088 that blazed along at 4.77 MHz. As time has passed, so has my experience and knowledge. I find it very rewarding to relate my knowledge to others in a way that makes people say Oh, NOW I get it! or I’ve been trying to figure this out forever and now I finally understand!. I have trained thousands of IT professionals in countless conferences and workshops many of which have included upwards of 800 people. I am happy to count many major corporations as current and past training and consulting clients, including Raytheon, Boeing, Intel, Hewlett-Packard, Compaq, Sprint, MCI WorldCom and several agencies of the federal government. Currently, I own a company that provides technical talent for various writing, editing, consulting, and training projects specific to all Windows versions and many Back Office products such as Internet Acceleration Server and Exchange 2000/2003. Many times, I find myself involved in the bleeding edge of technology. I’m often Beta testing the latest fun stuff from Microsoft. Some of the Betas I have been involved with include Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000, Windows XP and ISA Server. I also perform contract work for Microsoft in their Certification Skills and Assessment Program and am an official contributor to the MCP program, which has included developing the objectives that define the MCSE program and development of the Windows Server 2003 certification track. Additionally, I’m the author of Server+ Guide to Advanced Hardware Support published by Course Technologies. |
