James H. McConomy Of Counsel to Meyer, Unkovic & Scott LLP. Mr. McConomy practices in a wide range of commercial litigation including securities transactions, fraud, shareholder actions, corporate governance, public finance disputes and banking litigation. Additionally, Mr. McConomy has appeared as an expert witness in cases involving corporate governance and professional malpractice.Prior to joining Meyer, Unkovic & Scott, Mr. McConomy was associated with the Pittsburgh firms of Titus & McConomy LLP and Reed Smith Shaw & McClay, where he served as head of the Litigation Group. Mr. McConomy is a member of the Pennsylvania and Allegheny County Bar Associations, and a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. He also serves as a panelist for the American Arbitration Association and is a mediator in disputes before the National Association of Securities Dealers.Mr. McConomy received his A.B., cum laude, from Harvard College and earned his L.L.B. from Harvard Law School.
