Mr. Kinney joined the Macerich Company in January 2000 and is primarily responsible for the legal aspects of the Company's development and redevelopment projects. Before joining the Macerich Company Mr. Kinney was a senior real estate partner at the international law firm of O'Melveny & Myers LLP and has over 35 years experience representing developers and operators of regional shopping centers. Mr. Kinney has been active in civic affairs in Southern California and was Mayor of Palos Verdes Estates in 1985 and 1990 and a City Councilman of Palos Verdes Estates from 1983 to 1990. Mr. Kinney holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management (cum laude) from California State University at Long Beach and a Juris Doctorate from UCLA Law School. |
