James H. Quigley was named Chief Executive Officer of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu in June 2007.
Jim was most recently Chief Executive Officer, Deloitte & Touche USA LLP. Jim is a member of the Boards of Directors of both D&T USA and DTT. During his 30 years with Deloitte, he has had a number of leadership and client service responsibilities including Regional Managing Partner of the Deloitte US Firms’ Northeast practice and National Industry Leader for the organization’s Manufacturing Practice.
With more than 30 years of experience, Jim has a distinguished track record of service to many of Deloitte’s leading clients in a range of industries including Bristol-Myers Squibb, Dow Chemical, Huntsman Chemical, International Paper, Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Company, Monsanto Company and Tyco.
Jim serves on the board of trustees of Catalyst, the Financial Accounting Foundation, Japan Society, Economic Club of New York and National Advisory Committee Brigham Young University.
He is Co-Chair of the Transatlantic Business Dialogue and a member of the Council on Competitiveness.
Jim has been a member of the board of the Center for Audit Quality and has served on numerous committees of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is a member of the Business Roundtable and the US Security and Exchange Commission’s Advisory Committee on Improvements to Financial Reporting.
He has also been a member of the boards of the Southwestern Area Commerce and Industry Association of Connecticut and Junior Achievement of New York City.Jim received his Bachelor of Science degree from Utah State University and was awarded an honorary degree of Doctor of Commercial Science from Bentley College in Waltham, Mass. |
