James H. Holloman, Jr.’s practice focuses on Taxation, Trusts and Estates, Corporate Securities, Mergers and Acquisitions, ERISA and Employee Benefits and International Business. Mr. Holloman has over 27 years of experience. He serves as the Chair of the Firm’s Taxation Practice Group, Chair of the Non-Profit/Charitable Foundations Practice Group and Co-Chair of the Employee Benefits and ERISA Practice Group. Mr. Holloman graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 1969 and received his L.L.M. in Taxation from the New York University of Law in 1973. He also served as a Captain, Judge Advocate in the United States Marine Corps from 1969 to 1972. Mr. Holloman has been awarded the honor as one of the Best Lawyers in America (Tax Law, Trusts & Estates, Employee Benefits) since 1983 to the present and also has been lauded as one of America’s Leading Lawyers for Business (Tax), Chambers USA, 2004 to the present. He has published many articles and is a co-author for Oklahoma Corporate Forms, Treatise, LexisNexis. Mr. Holloman has also taught several classes over the years and currently is a guest lecturer at the University of Oklahoma each semester teaching a Lawyering seminar to law students about Oklahoma Tax Commission procedures. Mr. Holloman is an active member of many organizations and believes firmly in giving back to the community and as such has served as President of the Oklahoma City Community Foundation since 2003 and a Trustee since 1996. He was an active member of the Board of Education at the Deer Creek Edmond Public Schools from 1988 to 1998 and served as its President for three years. |
