James H. Clardy has been a venture partner of Austin Ventures, a venture capital firm, since January 1998. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of several privately-held technology companies.
From October 1997 to January 1998, Mr. Clardy was a private consultant, and from October 1991 until October 1997, he was President of Crystal Semiconductor, a wholly owned subsidiary of Cirrus Logic, Inc. In 1984 he co-founded Crystal Semiconductor and served as its CEO until its acquisition by Cirrus Logic in 1991.
He was employed by Texas Instruments in various senior management positions for 21 years and by Harris Semiconductor for four years as Vice President of Operations.
Mr. Clardy holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Tennessee. |
