Jim has 15 years of experience providing auditing, accounting, and tax services to not-for-profit organizations. This experience includes time spent serving these organizations as lead in-charge and in supervisory roles.
Jim is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Illinois CPA Society, Association Forum, and various other civic and educational organizations. He also serves as an appointed member of the Illinois CPA Society’s Nonprofit Committee and is past Chairperson of the Not-for-Profit Conference Task Force and the Not-for-Profit Special Interest Group. Jim serves as an appointed member of the Alford-Axelson Award for Nonprofit Managerial Excellence Selection Committee and the City of Chicago CityArts Program Review Panel, and he served on the Chicago Public Schools Renaissance 2010 Proposal Evaluation Team. Jim is currently also serving as an appointed member of the Attorney General’s Charitable Trust Advisory Council. He is a frequent speaker on subjects pertinent to not-for-profit organizations, and has extensive experience serving on the board of directors of various not-for-profit organizations.
Jim earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Marquette University. |
