James G. Ellis, a native of Tacoma, Washington. He received his undergraduate deggree from the University of New Mexico and his MBA from Harvard University. Mr. Ellis is a Professor of Marketing at the University of Southern California and is the Director of the Family Business program at USC. For the past 14 years, he has resided in San Marino. In addition to his affiliation with the academic community, he also continues to remain active in business. He formerly held the position of Corporate Secretary and co-owner of Ceramichrome, a manufacturer of ceramic paint, headquartered in Ohio. During the period 1990-97, he owned and served as Chief Executive Officer of Port O' Call, a retail store in Pasadena. Mr. Ellis has served as Chairman of the Board of the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce. |
