James F. Ricketts is corporate vice president and treasurer for Ingram Micro Inc. He is responsible for establishing Ingram Micro's global financial management strategies, and driving best practices in capital management throughout the company.
Ricketts joined Ingram Micro in September 1996 from Sundstrand Corporation, where he served as vice president and treasurer for five years. Sundstrand (acquired by United Technologies in 1999) was a leading manufacturer of systems and components for international aerospace and industrial markets. While at Sundstrand, Ricketts was responsible for the treasury organization, investor relations, and the mergers and acquisitions activities. Prior to that, Ricketts worked for Ford Motor Company for 19 years in various treasury and controller roles at the corporate, regional headquarters, and operational levels. He held key positions both at the corporate headquarters in Dearborn, Michigan and at operations in Australia, Japan and Mexico.
Prior to his career at Ford, Ricketts served in the U.S. Army from 1970 to 1971. He received a bachelor of science in business administration in 1969 and a master's degree in business administration in 1973, both from The Ohio State University. |
