James E. Joslyn, vice president and general manager of KSAT-TV, was born in Milwaukee, WI. Before joining KSAT in 1991, he was executive vice president and station manager at KVOA-TV in Tucson, AR. Previously, he had been an account executive for the Cox Broadcasting Company at KTVU-TV and account executive and general sales manager for the ABC-owned and operated stations in Chicago and San Francisco.
Joslyn is a member of the Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce and the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and a former member of the Army Community Council of San Antonio. He is a recipient of the Department of the Army's Commander's Award for Public Service. Joslyn is active in the Communication Arts High School Scholarship program, and was recognized for excellence by the Texas Associated Press for his editorials and commentaries.
Joslyn graduated from Los Angeles State College with a BA in business administration. He is married to Ann Joslyn and has three children.
