Mr. Coleman is a partner and founding member of Carrington, Coleman, Sloman & Blumenthal, L.L.P. For more than 30 years he has practiced as a civil trial lawyer representing both plaintiffs and defendants in jury trials involving civil disputes of all levels of complexity and in a wide range of controversial matters. Mr. Coleman has tried cases in both state and federal courts in Texas, and also acts as arbitrator in business disputes. His involvement in a wide variety of cases ranges from contract and other business disputes, fiduciary relations, legal and accountant malpractice defense, claims against corporate directors and officers, oil and gas disputes, securities law disputes, antitrust, and products liability and personal injury claims. In the past several years, Mr. Coleman has represented firms and individuals in breach of fiduciary duty and malpractice claims brought by federal agencies and private plaintiffs. He also represents individuals, corporations, banks, partnerships, and joint ventures. Mr. Coleman was admitted to practice in Georgia in 1952, and in Texas in 1954.Mr. Coleman has been recognized by Texas Monthly magazine as a "Super Lawyer" in business litigation each year since that award began in 2003, and has been ranked in the top 10 of all Texas Super Lawyers.
