James D. Young was appointed President, U.S. Tower Operations in October 2005. He is responsible for the management of all operational groups including the four Areas, Property Management, Operations, Service Delivery, Performance Improvement, and National Site Development. Mr. Young has more than 21 years of experience in the telecom industry in which he most recently served as the Northeast Region Vice President of Network Operations for Sprint/Nextel. Prior to joining Sprint/Nextel, Mr. Young was employed at GTE in a variety of leadership positions across multiple disciplines. Mr. Young has a Bachelor of Arts degree from DePauw University, a BS in Systems Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, and a Masters of Science in Management from Purdue University. |
