Mr. Gilson is a shareholder who practices in the Litigation and Intellectual Property Sections. During 2000-01, he served as President of the Utah Chapter of the Federal Bar Association. Mr. Gilson was an Assistant United States Attorney in the District of Utah, prosecuting federal white collar criminal matters. Mr. Gilson also served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable J. Thomas Greene and later for the Honorable Dee Benson of the U.S. District Court, District of Utah.
Mr. Gilson is the Utah Bar Representative to the Rules of Procedure Committee of the Judicial Conference of the United States. He is also a Screening Panel member of the Ethics and Discipline Committee of the Utah Supreme Court. He is rated AV by Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. Gilson was listed in 2005, 2006, and 2007 as one of Utah’s Legal Elite by Utah Business magazine in the areas of business litigation and intellectual property. |
