Jim Hoover began practicing traditional labor law under the National Labor Relations Act more than 30 years ago, starting as an attorney with the NLRB. Over the years, he has represented hundreds of corporations in a wide range of businesses, including manufacturing, health care, television, and retailing. Although Jim concentrates his practice on union avoidance and union administration, he also serves as a "generalist" in advising businesses on labor and employment matters. He is listed in The Best Lawyers in America and was named one of Georgia's 2004 "Super Lawyers" by Atlanta Magazine.
Jim is a member of the American Bar Association (Labor Law Under NLRA Section, Alternative Dispute Resolution Section, Elder Law Section). He is also AV® Peer Review Rated. He has been a contributor to the Florida Bar Journal and the ABA's publication Developing Labor Law Under NLRA.
In law school, Jim was editor of the Florida Law Review and a member of the Order of the Coif.
