As Executive Vice President for Duke Realty Corporation, Jim has responsibility for the company’s Central Region. With offices in Chicago, Minneapolis, St. Louis, Dallas and Houston, Duke’s Central Region has an annual development volume in excess of $350 million dollars, owns more than 39 million square feet of properties and 1,500 acres of undeveloped land. Jim is a member of the company’s Executive, Operating and Investment Committees.
Previously, Jim served as Senior Vice President of Duke’s Chicago Operations, where he was responsible for Duke's Chicago office and industrial portfolios. He led and directed the leasing, acquisition and development activity, building Duke’s Chicago portfolio to more than 10.8 million square feet.
Jim joined Duke Realty in 1998. He previously held numerous executive and brokerage positions with Cushman & Wakefield, most recently serving as Senior Managing Director for the Midwest area.
Jim is active in the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR), where he has served on the Board of Directors, Chairman of the Admissions Committee and President of the Chicago Chapter, the Association of Industrial Real Estate Brokers (AIRE), the National Association of Industrial and Office Professionals (NAIOP) and CoreNet Global. |
