Mr Hurlock is a retired partner from the law firm of White & Case LLP and served as Chairman of its Management Committee from 1980 to 2000. He has been a Non-executive Director of the Company since 2002 and was appointed Deputy Chairman in February 2005. He is Chairman of the Governance and Nomination Committee and a member of the Audit Committee. He participated in the formation and served on the Board of Northern Offshore Ltd. Which during the 1970s operated diver lock-out submarines and provided other services to the offshore oil industry. He holds a BA degree from Princeton University, an MA in Jurisprudence from Oxford University and a JD from Harvard Law School. Mr Hurlock is a U.S. citizen.
