James Alan Cook has more than 25 years of experience in the video game and personal computer industries. Mr. Cook was most recently EVP, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of The 3DO Company. Before joining 3DO in 1993, Mr. Cook was co-founder and President of Cook and Lefevre, P.C., a Silicon Valley law firm that counseled U.S. and foreign clients (including Sega, Electronic Arts, Capcom, Park Place, NEC, Psygnosis, Domark, and others) regarding the development, acquisition, licensing, and publishing of interactive video entertainment hardware and software products. Prior to establishing his private law practice, Mr. Cook was VP and Corporate Counsel for Atari, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Warner Communications Inc., and was responsible for managing the legal and business affairs of Atari’s consumer video game and home computer businesses throughout the world. |
