Mr. Dearlove has served in various capacities with the Company since 1977, including as President and Chief Executive Officer and a Director of the Company since May 1996, President and Chief Operating Officer of the Company from 1994 to May 1996, Senior Vice President of the Company form 1992 to 1994 and Vice President of the Company from 1986 to 1992. He is also Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Penn Virginia Resource GP, LLC, the general partner of Penn Virginia Resource Partners, L.P. He also serves as director of the National Council of Coal Lessors. |
