Dr. Boothe has over twenty years of experience in the energy sector. Prior to joining ERS Group he served as an Economist, first with LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae LLP and most recently at Holland & Knight LLP, advising and representing energy and telecommunications clients on matters before the California Public Utilities Commission, other state utility commissions, and the FERC. Prior to this, he worked for eleven years at the California Public Utilities Commission, advising Commissioners on a wide range of policy and regulatory issues in the water industry, natural gas and electricity sectors. Dr. Boothe has testified in numerous energy proceedings. Dr. Boothe advises regulatory commissions and utilities around the world on industry restructuring and regulatory issues. Dr. Boothe received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara, his M.B.A. in Business/Finance from the University of Miami, and his B.S. in Finance from the McIntyre School of Commerce at the University of Virginia. |
