James A. Krantz was appointed to serve as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Company effective June 1, 2007, subject to the approval of the Bermuda Department of Immigration. He served as Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of the Company from August 2006 to May 2007. From March 2003 to August 2006, he served as the Chief Financial Officer of Platinum Underwriters Reinsurance, Inc., a subsidiary of the Company. From January 1999 to November 2001, Mr. Krantz was Vice President Finance of Underwriters Reinsurance Company ("URC"), and Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of three primary insurance subsidiaries of URC. |
