Mr. Kohlberg has been a director of ClearEdge Power since 2004, where he serves as chairman of the board and serves on the Executive and Human Resources Committees. Mr. Kohlberg is chairman and co-founder of Kohlberg & Company, a leading middle market private equity firm, and is an active venture investor in alternative energy, internet media, and entertainment, including ClearEdge Power; Essential Entertainment, a film finance and foreign sales company where he serves as chairman; and CurrentTV, an Emmy winning interactive content cable company. Most recently, he co-founded an internet media firm, HalogenGuides.com. Mr. Kohlberg is also active in educational philanthropy through his foundation and is on the board of EcoAmerica, an environmental charity. |
