Born in San Jose, Costa Rica, Jaime A. Davidson, MD, F.A.C.E., is an Endocrinologist in Practice at Medical City Dallas Hospital and Clinical Associate Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. Dr. Davidson was the Chair of the Implementation for ACE Outpatient Diabetes Mellitus Consensus Conference. After receiving his medical degree in Mexico City, Dr. Davidson returned to San Jose for his internship at Universidad de Costa Rica. He then traveled to the United States for the rest of his training, internship and internal residency at Scott & White Memorial Hospital (Texas A&M) and his endocrinology fellowship at Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Davidson was recently appointed by the governor to serve on the Texas State Health Service Council, serves on the Editorial Board of Revista de Endocrinologia y Nutrición Sociedad Mexicana de Nutrición y Endocrinologia and a member of the President’s Council of Physical Fitness and Sports. His honors include several service recognition awards from American Diabetes Association, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, as well as the Food and Drug Administration. Most recently Dr. Davidson was presented the Yank D. Coble, Jr., M.D., Distinguished Service Award. |
