Jaime M. Sepulveda, Chief Financial Officer, joined MGL Consulting Corporation in December 2001.Prior to joining MGL Consulting Corporation, Mr. Sepulveda was Corporate Controller/CFO for Ridgway's Inc. His responsibilities encompassed Accounting, Treasury and the Administration Division of the Company located in over 20+ markets nation-wide with 27 branches. He oversaw four Regional Controllers as well as the Corporate staff. Mr. Sepulveda served as Assistant Secretary of the Company and was an Administration Committee Member of the 401K Plan.Prior to joining Ridgway's Inc., Mr. Sepulveda was Director of Variable Product Accounting, Financial and Statistical Reporting for The Variable Annuity Life Insurance Company (VALIC) and American General Investment Management Company (AGIM), both subsidiaries of American General Corporation. Responsibilities included financial reporting for mutual fund companies, general accounting for VALIC's Separate Accounts, the preparation of mutual funds performance and statistical reporting for inclusion into stockholders' prospectus and the preparation of stockholders' Annual and Semi-Annual reports. Mr. Sepulveda directed activities of external auditors on 10 mutual fund companies with their respective SEC N-SAR filings and annual state insurance filings on VALIC's Separate Accounts. He designed and implemented a new general ledger chart of accounts for VALIC's Separate Account A and was troubleshooter for VALIC's Trust department and A.G. Distributors. Mr. Sepulveda's experiences prior to American General Corporation include serving as Chief Financial Officer for Intile Designs, Inc., Controller and Treasurer for the Port of Houston Authority and Clothes Unlimited, Inc. as well as Corporate Accounting Manager for Mitchell Energy and Development Corp. and Metro Networks, Inc. Immediately after graduation, Mr. Sepulveda spent five years with PricewaterhouseCoopers as Senior and Staff Accountant. His clients included oil and gas, wholesale, retail, manufacturing and not-for profit organizations. Mr. Sepulveda brings with him 15+ years of SEC reporting experience. Mr. Sepulveda holds a BBA in Accounting with a minor in Economics from the University of St. Thomas, Houston, Texas where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1975 and was the recipient of the Accounting Department Award for Top Ranking Senior. Mr. Sepulveda is a Certified Public Accountant (licensed in Texas) and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Texas Society of CPA's, the Houston Chapter of the TSCPA's, and the American Association of Spanish Speaking CPA's. Mr. Sepulveda has received recognition from the Good Neighbor Commission of the State of Texas in acknowledgment of "signal effort in promoting mutual understanding, friendship, and solidarity among the people of the Western Hemisphere." |
