Jacquelyn Knight, a Managing Director in Major, Lindsey & Africa’s New York office, has successfully counseled numerous partners and associates of varied backgrounds in their placements in small, mid-sized and large national firms. She has placed attorneys in-house at national and global corporations. She has also placed local attorneys at law firms abroad, and foreign attorneys relocating to the United States. Jacquelyn’s ability to fully understand each attorney’s experience and interests while matching career goals and expectations have made her a highly successful recruiter. Before joining MLA, she worked at another leading recruiting firm in New York.
Jacquelyn graduated summa cum laude from Fordham University with a degree in business and economics. While in college she worked as a human resource director at a New York brokerage firm, interviewing and placing various applicants. After earning her J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law, she worked as a federal litigator for five years at the National Labor Relations Board in New York. She is a member of the New York bar.
Over the years, Jacquelyn has served on several public school boards. She is currently a volunteer board member of the Forest Hills Gardens Community House. She enjoys spending her free time in Shelter Island, New York with her family. |
