Jacqueline P. "Jackie" Kane joined The Clorox Company in 2004. As senior vice president - Human Resources and Corporate Affairs, she serves as the company's senior officer responsible for corporate-wide Human Resources, Government Affairs and Community Relations.
Prior to joining Clorox, Kane was with Hewlett-Packard for four years. There she was vice president Human Resources - Corporate Groups and Executive Leadership. She also led the strategic change organization for HP, which provided the change stewardship for the transformation to the new HP. Her experience included being one of the senior leaders in the merger process between HP and Compaq Computer and establishing the overall talent management architecture for the organization globally.
Prior to joining HP, Kane was with Bank of America and one of its acquisitions initially for 20 years as senior vice president of Human Resources for the Global Capital Raising and Global Capital Markets Group. In this role, she was responsible for leading all aspects of HR for the bank's investment and corporate banking sector. Prior to that, she had a variety of experiences such as marketing, sales, government relations and corporate affairs.
Kane currently serves as a trustee of the Oakland Museum of California. While in Chicago, she served as the fund-raising committee chair for The University of Chicago's Wyler Children's Hospital, assisting the hospital to expand its facilities and services to children of all social and economic backgrounds.
A native of Tinley Park, Ill., Kane holds a Bachelor of Science degree in management from Chicago's DePaul University. |
