Expertise:
Accounting, auditing and financial reporting
Tax consulting
Providing instruction in logic and numeric problem solving, Jackie's first career as a math teacher prepared her well for her current position in public accounting. She also gained valuable practical accounting experience working in the audit department of a national finance company, maintaining the books for a Boston-based transportation company and heading the payroll department for a major shoe manufacturer. Finding that she enjoyed the challenges encountered in her accounting positions, Jackie began working toward becoming a certified public accountant and earned her certification in 1986. Jackie's business acumen continues to grow as she provides a wide range of financial services to a diverse group of clients with a broad spectrum of needs and issues. While much has changed since she became an accountant more than 20 years ago, particularly the recent public perception of accounting firms, she is still committed to doing whatever is right for her clients. "We strive to do the best we can," she said. "We're proud of our work." When not working with her clients, she enjoys experiencing new adventures with her grandchildren, husband and two children.
