Jack is the head of Pierce Atwood's Commercial Finance and Bankruptcy Team. Jack devotes his practice primarily to financially distressed situations, debtor-creditor relations, and commercial transactions. He regularly represents debtors, operating trustees, secured creditors, landlords, trade creditors, and committees in complex Chapter 11 reorganizations, out-of-court workouts, and collection matters. Jack also routinely represents lenders in providing "front-end" construction, acquisition, term and working capital financing to commercial borrowers. Jack is experienced in negotiating, structuring, and preparing plans of reorganization and liquidation, developing and implementing "exit strategies" for commercial lenders, negotiating settlements of claims, and drafting the full range of documents for commercial transactions. An attorney with Pierce Atwood since 1986, Jack has been a partner since 1991. Prior to joining Pierce Atwood, Jack was an associate with the New York City law firm of Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson. |
