Before joining the Regenstrief Foundation in August 2002, Mr. Jack Shaw spent 35 with Ernst & Young, beginning in its tax department in 1967. He was appointed Partner in 1975, Partner-in-Charge, Tax in 1978 and Managing Partner in 1986.
He was educated at Indiana University, where he earned a B.S. in Accounting in 1964, and Indiana University Law School at Indianapolis, where in 1968 he earned his J.D. (Cum Laude). He received CPA Certification in 1967.
Mr. Shaw is Past President and Board Member of the Arts Council of Indianapolis; a Member of the Board of Directors and Past Treasurer of the Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce; Honorary Trustee, Past President and Investment Committee Member of The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis; Past President and Emeritus Board Member of Indiana Repertory Theatre; Past Treasurer and Board Member of Indianapolis Downtown, Inc.; and Past Chairman and Board Member of the Greater Indianapolis Progress Committee.
He served as President of the Economic Club during 1995-1996; was Moderator of the Stanley K. Lacy (SKL) Executive Leadership Class in 1995-1996 and is a Member of the SKL Advisory Committee. He is a Member of the Board of Directors of United Way; an Emeritus Member of the Board of Directors of the Central Indiana Corporate Partnership; serves on the Dean’s Advisory Council at the Indiana University Kelley School of Business; and is a Board Member of the Legacy Fund. |
