Moran is a founder of Nexity Financial Corporation and Nexity Bank and currently serves on the board of directors and as executive vice president and chief financial officer. Prior to joining Nexity, he worked for 13 years for The Anchor Bank in Myrtle Beach, most recently serving as senior vice president and comptroller. Moran began his career as a bank examiner with the South Carolina State Board of Financial Institutions. A graduate of the University of South Carolina with a degree in Accounting and a master’s in Business Administration, he also is an honor graduate of the Graduate School of Banking of the South at L.S.U. He has served on the board of directors of the South Carolina Bankers Association and is an instructor at the South Carolina Bankers School. |
